In the news: All 33 Chilean miners and their rescuers are out of the mine, Verizon Wireless to sell iPad, and 3 babies born on 8/8/08, 9/9/09, and 10/10/10.
Hurray, the Chilean miners have been rescued! Chi Chi Chi Le Le Le!!! Finally some good news for a change. I watched the rescues nearly the whole day yesterday. It is amazing that they were down there for 69 days, and in my opinion, pretty amazing that they were able to get inside that tiny rescue pod and be pulled through a small tunnel to safety with any sedation. If it were me, I might still be down there waiting for a larger escape hole.
While I would never buy an iPad for myself, it is about time the exclusivity of these Apple products was gone. Don't make people use your service because of an exclusive product, make them WANT your service because the service itself is great.
Wow, having 3 babies in 3 years should be amazing in it's own right, but to have them on those specific dates is just wow amazing. She (the mom) has 2 more years to finish off her dated babies. I wonder if she can pull it off. Not that I am saying she is trying, but since she has already got it started, I say she should at least try. |

In today's news: Zahra Clare Baker is STILL missing, prisoned Nobel Peace prize winner (Liu Xiaobo) gets better food, and trapped miners may start exiting their 68 day prison as early as tonight.
It is starting to look like Zahra fell to the hands of a family member which is pretty sad. I am not a fan of corporal punishment to begin with, but reports are coming in that the step mother allegedly spanked this child hard enough to hurt her ownself on the child's prosthetic leg. How does someone even fathom hitting a child that survived cancer? As much as I would like to have hope for Zahra to be found alive, it isn't looking good.
Liu Xiaobo gets better food? Well I guess that is the proper thing to do when you have the Nobel Peace prize winner sitting in your prison. It is unfortunate that child molesters run free (in Americia) and human right advocates sit in jail (in China). What is wrong with this picture?
I realize there have been many emotions since those 33 miners became trapped, but I am hearing reports of families being jealous as to who gets to be there to greet them. Come on people, you should have more important things to do then argue about who gets to see them first. If you have all been together for the hope of your family member getting out alive and safe, then that should be your greatest concern, and happiness should come from that fact alone. Get to your homes and be ready to celebrate when they get there and where they can be surrounded by ALL of their loved ones and family members. |

In Today's News: A man with a mustache makes news somehow interesting, snow in Nevada and hail in Arizona, and people picketing funerals.
If you check out the photo that is up at the Daily Mail, there is another guy with a much more interesting hair style on the left of the photo. I personally think he beats out mustache guy.
While I would like to say I was jealous of your weather (Arizona and Nevada), today is one of those days that I just can't say that. Be careful if you are out and about today, mother nature is starting the cold stuff early.
I realize that everyone feels the need to make a statement nowadays, but come on... a funeral?? Who pickets a funeral. Make your point somewhere else (whether I think it is a valid point or not). Do it on your own time, don't take advantage of someone's loss to make your point. All you managed to do is make yourselves look like jerks in my opinion and now you are in the middle of a lawsuit. I highly doubt that God wants you speaking for him, maybe you forgot that little verse "judge not, lest ye be judged". Hey, I guess it is true. You judged a HERO, and now here you are being judged. Seems like the perfect karma to me. I'm hoping for a win in Albert Snyder's corner! RIP Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder and thank you for serving and protecting your country. |

In today's news: Jaycee Dugard's kidnappers were indicted, storms in the northeast, and U.S apologizes to Guatemala. Yay to Jaycee!! Although it wasn't as if that was unexpected, at least not for me. All of you northeasterners be safe while travelling and if you can, stay safe in your homes. Not even sure what to say to that last one. Sorry Guatemala. It is really a shame that there weren't any sort of regulations to prevent that from happening back then.
